Takes from the project photo shoot. Some times you have to bribe your friends to cooperate, in the end its always a good time.
I feel like I am getting closer to the realization of my AHA moment. My mood board is a reflection of the ideas and circumstances of that very moment. All pictures are representative to items revolving around the center square which is a logo that I created my first year at OSU and has been my main focus since.
Pattern Series:
The first pattern was created using scale of one icon, the negative space brings a focal point to the center of the composition and from there increases in size outwards.
The second pattern illustrates an industrial scene in which rain drops are being collected and renewed using a silhouette of a factory.
The last pattern also uses scale and negative space to create an opposite composition where the same icon is repeated throughout.
Icon Series:
The first icon I made with the letter F. Combined the negative space creates implications of arrows of different scale leading away from the center & with the black the letter form R appears several times.
The second icon was created with the letter E. Transformed then mirrored it creates the letter form S in the negative space,
The last icon was created with the descender from a lower case E and then mirrored and stacked vertically to create a functional design that from every view remains the original E letter from.

I chose these 3 sketches because I feel that they correlate with the emotions and association of time with my AHA moment regarding preparation.
AHA moment:
I have difficulties identifying a single AHA moment so far in life, the closest association I can make however is an important life lesson I have identified regarding always being prepared. It feels like I’m always battling a deadline to accomplish new tasks, especially regarding school with projects, assignments, and tests. The build up to these deadlines wether that be studying or working often feels uneasy and rocky. Time always seems to travel faster than I planned for and whether it is early or late, the margin of being prepared is small and depending how prepared I am results in different consequences
